Here is an Aurora, Model Motoring, Thunderjet 500 HO scale slot car
racing accessory...
No.1349, Model DC-2,  20 volt DC, Transformer PowerPack.
YES this power pack does work it has been tested.
I see no damage but it does have the usual light wear and scratches
from play and storage.
Yes the ON/OFF switch works and the cord and plug have NO damage.
