THIS IS A HOLLOW OFF-WHITE CRESTED CHINA ORNAMENT MODEL OF A
WORLD WAR 1 BRITISH ARMY TANK. DEPICTING A FABULOUS 'ALSTON CREST'.
IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS
THERE IS A LITTLE FADING TO THE DECORATIVE GILT
STAMPED TO THE BASE
FLORENTINE WARE
MADE IN ENGLAND
THESE WERE POPULAR SOUVENIRS FOR PEOPLE WHO TRAVELLED
BEFORE THE FIRST WOLRLD WAR, DURING THE WAR THE
MAKERS BEGAN TO CREATE DESIGNS RELATED TO WAR TIME.
NEW DESIGNS WERE REGISTERED (E.G SHELLS, GRENADES AND
MINES, SHIPS, AEROPLANES, AMBULANCES AND EVENTUALLY ALSO TANKS.
IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS.
WITH SOME WEAR TO THE GILT.
