BOMAC VARIAN X-Band Reflex Klystrons BL800 (6780), BL803 (6781) 8.5-10.0GHz

Description

These are Varian, BOMAC Division X-Band Reflex Klystrons BL800 (1 ea.), BL803 (2 ea.) - 6780 & 6781 type. According to the data sheet:
"The 6780 (and 6781) klystron is an oscillator for C. W. operation of the reflex type. It is a mechanically tuned klystron requiring no external cavity resonators. Output fittings are designed for use with RG52/U wave guide. The recommended operating frequency lies between 8.5 and 10.0 kilo megacycles. The power output is approximately 20 mW over this frequency range. The tube is air cooled. The 6780 (and 6781) klystron is designed for use as a local oscillator."
Check data sheets for exact specs. The electrical specs appear to be identical, but the mechanical tuning appears to be slightly different between the BL800 and BL803 (see pictures).
These are NOS or pulls from 1960's military surplus radar equipment and have been in storage since then.
Auction includes:
BL800 (1 ea.), BL803 (2 ea.)

Selling as "Used" although BL803 units with wave guide covers appear to be unused. Sold as is, no returns. Filaments tested good on all three units. No further testing performed.
