DENBY HARLEQUIN STONEWARE DIVIDED SERVING BOWL GREEN/BLUE ENGLAND EXC.CONDITION

Description

Beautiful and hard to find Denby Harlequin large rectangular divided vegetable/serving bowl which is in mint, perfect condition with no chips, cracks, discoloration or utensil marks.    The divided bowl has a dark green interior and a dark blue exterior and measures 12 1/2 inches between handles, is 8 3/8 inches wide and 2 5/8 inches tall.  There is a ridge separating the bowl into 2 equal size sections - perfect for vegetables or for a vegetable or meat with sauce or gravy in the other section.   It is noted as being "oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe".   This piece has become very hard to find and extremely expensive on the resale market' however I have priced very reasonably.  Denby Harlequin was active from 1992-2004 and was a stoneware pattern characterized by deep vivid colors of red, green and blue with a speckled pattern.  It remains one of Denby's most popular patterns.  Denby is known as one of England's oldest pottery manufacturers since they've been making pottery in Derbyshire since 1809.  They are known for their spectacular glazes which have never been duplicated.  Denby is considered the finest English stoneware made.
All items I sell either come from or have been stored in a smoke free environment and are sold “as-is”.    I photograph and describe in detail to the best of my ability.

Note:  I no longer ship larger or very fragile items via USPS.  USPS routinely mishandles packages resulting in delayed delivery and higher than normal damage and loss.  UPS/Fedex may be slightly more expensive; however they handle packages quickly and safely and in the unlikely event of loss or damage are much more reliable and reputable.
