Fenton Carnival Glass Orange Tree Orchard Water Pitcher, Blue Base
Large water pitcher with ruffled scalloped rim and applied handle. The design features orange trees in bloom with diagonal scroll work. The base glass and handle are cobalt blue, with amazing purple and blue iridescence around the neck, and mostly bright gold and silver on the body. Classic period carnival glass, introduced around 1912. Hard to find shape in a beautiful color.
Condition:  No chips or cracks. Some factory flaws to the underside of the base. Small spot of missing/rubbed finish on the body.
Marks:  Unmarked.
Dimensions:  9 1/2" high, 7 3/4" wide at handle, 6 3/4" deep.
