Condition: Gabriel Electronics Microwave Waveguide WTPF-1500 Conical Horn Coupler 47". This came from the estate of a man whom led an interesting life as both an engineer and a merchant marine along with being a serious hobbyist astronomer. So serious he was in the process of building a radio telescope at home til the city put a stop to it. He had a lot of microwave test gear, marine communications gear and other general electronics equipment. I am not sure of his intended application with this piece and I am not entirely sure what it is exactly. It looks to be both a coupler and horn to me. The ends were taped up to keep dust and debris out and it shows some tarnish scuffs scratches soiling from the tape remains on the outer. Approx 47" long copper and brass construction. Gabriel electronics is now known as Gabriel Antenna. See photos for further condition details.
