Good working HP Ku to K band Frequency Doubler W/Detector 9-13G in to 18-26GHz!
Good working HP Ku to K band frequency doubler with a negative Detector output removed from an HP 938. Ku band input is 9-13.25GHz input @ 10-20dBm via a WR-75 waveguide flange. K output is 18-26.5GHz from a WR-42 waveguide flange. The negative detector BNC output must be DC terminated into 50 ohms to supply a DC current to self bias the detector/ doubler diode. This is a great addition to your 8-16GHz sweep generator to expand to 26.5GHz. The negative detector output becomes the leveling input to your sweeper. I have used these for many years with my Wiltron sweep generators and they work great. This assembly weighs over 2 pounds. Please view all 5 photos.
