Offering for purchase a large and lovely stoneware jardinière designed by Eleanor “Daisy” Calvert from the “Langley Ware” line  produced circa 1890 by Calvert & Lovatt of Derbyshire, England.
Featuring a generously sized, slip decorated and incised form with gilt trimmed russet and ivory foliate décor against a textured olive green matte glazed ground.
EXCELLENT CONDITION
– free from chipping, cracking, crazing, or restoration, with minor age-appropriate wear to the gold trim.
Marked with impressed “Langley Ware” and additional alpha-numeric characters of unknown significance.
