MINT Gourmet Royale Vintage Fondue Set Styson Rubel Complete avocado green

Fondue is the new trend making a huge comeback after it's heyday in the early 70's.
This is a BEAUTIFUL vintage/retro ENAMELED steel, and cast iron base set that they could not afford to make and sell today without it costing a fortune. The sword style skewers are stainless and made in Japan, as is the real wood base. It's a beautiful avocado green that is the iconic color of that era.
This was my Aunt's and she may have used it one time but I don't remember it being used. I was in high-school at the time, so I would have remembered it if she had. (that's the only reason I am not listing this as NEW. There are no signs of wear that I can see, but there is one small chip on the bottom, and a couple of very small chips on the edge of the lid from storage and handling since this is almost 50 years old. (see pictures). The wood finish shows a little age, but could be like new with a little wipe on finish. The wood base looks like a small crack has developed where the wood base is glued together (again from age). It could be repaired in the future if it ever became a problem with glue and a clamp to make it an invisible repair. I really hate to part with this since it has been a cool looking conversation piece in my cabinet for years since my aunt passed, but I have to part with a few things. I hope this will find a good home that will put it to good use.  My wife has her fondue pot from the 70's that she wants to keep for sentimental reasons, but hers does not come anywhere near the quality of this one. It's an incredibly  well made set that weighs almost NINE (9) pounds.
