THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE SET OF FOUR original Aurora Speed Parts sponge tires still sealed in the factory bister.  In the early days of HO racing the theory was that sponge tires, preferably treated with some liquid, would give you better traction than the stock rubber tires.  And it worked, as long as you didn’t mind the mess left behind on your track from the liquid treatment.  The liquid treatments can still be found, they are Tire-Bite, Kofords lite viscosity glue and others.
